Children in Key Stage 2 have been thoroughly enjoying their Code Club sessions with Paula Taylor.
Our Digital Leaders are being upskilled by Paula, using micro:bits and coding to learn about how these new technologies work. In the Spring term they will be using Raspberry Pis and python coding, and can’t wait to find out more!
The children are especially excited to impart their knowledge to their peers, using their specially coded micro:bits to run an activity with a group using a special dice code made with Paula. Paula’s wealth of experience with the MET Office and Big Bang means that she can brings immense knowledge and expertise, which we are all learning from.
A huge thank you to STEM Ambassador Paula for coming to see us at Cockwood, the children are thoroughly enjoying their time with you, and have learnt so much already!
