STEVEN JACKSON
Appointed 6 June 2024
Steve is currently Commercial Director for the regional civil engineering business of a large national contractor. He is primarily responsible for commercial performance, risk management, supply chain, governance and strategy. Prior to this, Steve was a senior manager for a large defence contractor based in Plymouth, maintaining and decommissioning the UK’s nuclear submarine fleet.
With an MBA from Warwick Business School and a Honours degree in Business, Steve is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Before being appointed as a member, Steve served as a trustee of Ivy Education Trust for three years. During this time Steve was appointed to the Finance, Audit & Risk Management Committee and the link trustee for GDPR.
SALLY TIMMINS
Appointed 5th July 2023
Sally is a former National Leader of Governance and has much experience in the education sector. She currently is a senior audit manager with Bishop Fleming and has a deep understanding of the role of both trustees and members in today’s education landscape.
Sally has worked with Ivy Education before and has known the Trust in various forms for some time, so has an appreciation of the work that has been involved in getting us to where we are today. She brings experience in governance expertise, strategic growth and a strength in financial matters.
Sally is currently also a trustee with Westcountry Schools Trust, a multi academy trust with 31 schools.
