Wednesday 22nd May saw 53 students between Year 7 to TCS6 embark on a beach clean mission.
Our charity committee and Green Team thought it important to take action and despite the terrible weather, we managed to fill several bin bags! Thank you to the parents/carers, friends and family members who attended our beach clean, and to Chloe Myers, our deputy Mayor. A special thank you to Mr David Cox who brought several of our students an ice cream and were pointing our Green Team in the right direction for funding. He also gave us some ideas of best places to find the litter.
As always these group of students have done themselves and us very proud! Their behaviour was mature and the way they interacted with members of the public was polite.
