TCS6 attend annual Learn 2 Live conference

November 24, 2025Jonathan Lasker

This week TCS6 attended the annual Learn 2 Live conference to participate in an education programme aimed at young people aged 16-19 engaging with varying emergency services to highlight the importance of safe driving as well as the role of the passengers.  Students embarked on advice and guidance on ways to maximise their safety when using the roads and also learnt the specific risks and consequences of their actions whilst in a car.  The aim of the conference was to get students to consider small challenges in their behaviours and develop ways to advise others at the wheel.  This conference was invaluable and students walked away with knowledge of the combination of factors that contribute to road traffic accidents of young drivers these being inexperience, peer pressure, fatigue and risk taking. Saving lives matter- have a safe plan when driving.
