The children at Starcross Primary School have been rocking out last week to raise money for the NSPCC!
We had great fun dressing up as rock stars, or as something to do with numbers, and trying some new maths challenges. Our Year 6 students, for example, were exploring the Fibonacci sequence and drawing the spirals on the playground!
Our KS2 classes also got to take part in Times Tables Rock Stars battles as part of a national competition that saw nearly 15,000 classes taking part across the country. We are really proud of all the children who took part, and Oystercatchers, Avocets, Razorbills and Puffins all came in the top 25%. Amazing results!
