This week the children in Class 2 and 3 had a super workshop with Laura Loft. She came in and read her story ‘Big Emotions’ to each class, playing and singing along as she narrated. The story covers ‘big’ emotions that we all have – sadness, anger, happiness and excitement, and how to cope with these feelings. Every child played some percussion instruments, and were then given their very own feather to take home, to help them to ease their worries and any sadness they may feel.
We absolutely loved having Laura in with us, and have lots of good ideas now on how to look after our own emotions.
