Class 2 recently embarked on an incredible educational journey to the SS Great Britain in Bristol, exploring the world of the famous Victorian engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
The pupils were absolutely outstanding during their visit. They impressed the education team by demonstrating remarkable knowledge about Brunel, answering most of the questions with confidence and enthusiasm. Their preparation and understanding shone through brilliantly.
During the trip, the pupils engaged in a hands-on learning experience that brought history to life. They worked collaboratively in groups, managing a steam engine and discovering special items as part of the Brunel experience. The afternoon was spent exploring the ship and its fascinating exhibits, providing an immersive historical adventure.
We’re particularly grateful to our wonderful PFA, who helped subsidise the coach, making this enriching educational opportunity possible for our pupils. Their support continues to be invaluable in enhancing our pupils’ learning experiences.
