Kenn PTFA Transform EYFS outdoor learning space

November 24, 2025Jonathan Lasker

A huge thank you to our amazing PTA and all the incredible parents who dedicated their time, effort, and resources to help improve our EYFS outside area. Your support has truly transformed the space for our youngest learners.

The difference is remarkable — from brighter, more engaging play zones to new resources that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Our children are already beginning to explore, play, learn, and thrive in this wonderful outdoor environment, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch their learning journey grow.

We are so grateful for your continued commitment to our lovely school and for helping us create a space that will benefit pupils for years to come.

A huge thanks to everyone who came and helped and, in particular, Chris Day from Kennbury Carpentry.
We’d also like to thank Cllr Alan Connett for a donation of £500 towards this project. This was put towards the new sandpit and movable outdoor art screens.
Thank you also to Otter Garden Centre for their kind donation of an apple tree. The children will enjoy watching this grow over the coming years.
The fabulous toadstools were made for us by Stephen Chadwick, SJC Garden & Tree, and Stephen sent us photos and a video so the children could see the process.
Thank you also to local builder’s merchants Huws Gray who were very accommodating with our specific delivery days/times and gave us their best prices on materials.

Thank you for being part of our community and for making this happen!
